Pottery in the park is a "hands on" pottery experience for all ages based in the picturesque surroundings of Walton Hall Gardens near Warrington.

Where we are...
You may have seen us busily helping young visitors to throw pots on the wheel or helping others to paint their chosen gift, which may be anything from a frog to a fairy.
Between Easter and the end of September we are situated in The Heritage Yard where we provide pottery activities at weekends and during school holidays. Everyone, from babies to great grandmas, have been expressing their artistic talents all over the place!
You may not be aware that, between Easter and September during term time, the pottery and all its facilities can be booked at times to suit you by prior arrangement.
Several nurseries and schools in the area have incorporated our activities with a visit to the park. No child is too young to succeed (with help) to actually throw a recognisable pot. The items made or painted are gleefully taken home as a lasting souvenir.
