Tuition
The school curriculum can be dramatically enhanced by hands-on sessions. History can be given new life by actually making a Greek urn, a Roman broach or some Egyptian amulets or ushabtis. Geography and science lessons can benefit from seeing and feeling different textures of clays from around the world. Learn how pots are made in other countries. Experiment with these various clays to find out which are suitable to work with (wet/dry, gritty/smooth) and finally find out about how temperature affects the clay.
